ABOUT ME
Andrew Mena was born an extremely handsome biracial boy in the late 1980s. Born in Hawaii, he only stayed long enough to soak up the island vibes. He subsequently moved the party on over to San Diego, California; one of the nicest places in the world (because it’s where he calls ‘home’ - and the burritos). Once he discovered theater in high school he was never the same.
In fact, as a bookish college boy, he studied theater and playwriting at UC Riverside. Upon becoming King of Riverside, he abdicated his throne, installed democracy there, and moved out to Los Angeles to live amongst the common people.
He has trained at nearly every comedy school in LA - here’s a list of some: UCB, The Groundlings, iOWest, CSZLA, The Second City Hollywood, and The Pack Theater.
As a half-white man, Andrew has hosted his share of podcasts including the competitive talk-show podcast The Anytime Program, the real-play TTRPG show Ride or Dice, and as a host at TV after-show network Afterbuzz TV where he discussed shows like Iron Fist, Samurai Jack, Narcos, Bojack Horseman, Van Helsing, Bob’s Burgers, Wrecked, and Dark Matter, among others.
For those bad at stalking him: He can be seen at monthly live shows as a writer/performer with The Pack Theater House Sketch Team Whoops!
